Under the seat

The seat is in one-piece and unlocks using the ignition key. Yamaha have very neatly hidden this access for the key directly under the seat, just above the rear wheel and under a small protective flap to keep the road grime out. With the seat removed there is little to no useful storage space below, just enough for a few small tools or an emergency tyre repair kit.

Once you’ve removed the seat, there’s scant storage capacity to be found. Maybe room for a few Peperamis...
