When British luggage experts Kriega set out to create bags for adventurers, they contacted experienced world-travellers, Chris Scott and Austin Vince to ask them what they wanted. They insisted it had to be soft, hard wearing and easy to get off the bike.

What Kriega came up with is this Overlander System range of luggage that consists of 32-litre panniers, plus mounting system, and 6L, 12L and 18L roll-top packs. They’re all made of 1000D Cordura, Hypalon and Kevlar webbing, with internal drybags.

The semi-rigid panniers mount to the OS Platforms, which fit on a wide range of pannier-mount systems. If the bike doesn’t have pannier mounts, the panniers can be fitted with straps as throwovers. The £239 price is per individual pannier.

The packs are softer and can be fitted to crashbars, a tank bra, as a tailpack or the 6L and 12L bags can be fitted to the panniers. It is very expensive, but is very robustly made so should last on any adventure.
