OUR ROUTE

Start: Loomies Café Finish: Beachy Head Time: 3.5 hours Distance: 104 miles

-

“Mile number 151 is every bit as welcoming, comfortable, and effortless as the first”

Our 104-mile route across the South Downs starts at the biker-run Loomies Moto Café. A stretch of leafy back-roads leads down past Goodwood, then heads back up to rejoin the A272. It cuts south cross-country once again, before reluctantly straying onto a short squirt of A27 dual carriageway – a necessary evil that unlocks the stunning Devil’s Dyke and Ditchling Beacon viewpoints. On a clear day you’ll definitely want to stop at both to take in the incredible panoramas. The final leg leads down to Beachy Head, for a spectacular (albeit popular) loop along the very edge of the south coast.
