www.motohaus.com A briefcase for the biker about town, this beautifully finished and robust courier bag has a waterproof rolltop main compartment, covered by a flap that secures with both Velcro and buckles. If you’re not worried about water, the rolltop fastens out of the way for quicker access to the main compartment, which has a padded laptop section and five slim pockets in the larger portion of its 12-litre capacity. There are two zipped pockets under the main flap, plus two zips in the lid and pouches on the ends of the bag.
The main flap and ends of the bag are covered in webbing for attaching accessory bags (£41 for the LA2 pictured). They lash down using their own straps, fixing securely in place. This ‘MOLLE System’ developed by the US military makes it easy to expand the capacity of the bag. There’s a padded carrying handle on top but it’s more likely to be worn over the shoulder with a padded, adjustable strap. A waist/ cross strap is included to stop it moving around when riding or a set of optional straps can be bought (£21) to convert it into a useful tailpack.
