Kawasaki ZRX1200S

2001-2008 ZRX1200R

This is the one that attracts the attention classic 1980s AMA Superbike styling, little bikini headlamp fairing, braced swingarm, ZZ-R1100 engine, six-pot brakes, twin shocks. Green ones are fastest (and worth more). £3000-£5000

2001-2004 ZRX1200S

This is the one that attracts the budget tourers. Exactly the same as the 1200R except for the surprisingly-effective half-fairing. Discontinued in the UK at the end of 2004. £2400-£4400

2005-2008 ZRX1200R

No mechanical changes but now has polished exhaust downpipes and collector, and black finish brake calipers instead of gold. £3500-£5500

2001-on ZRX1200N

Mechanically the same as the other two versions, but with a simple round headlight. Not officially imported to the UK but one may occasionally pop up as an import.
