Savoyard raclette

Everything from pizzas to salads is described as ‘Savoyard’, which means with bacon and cheese. But the celebration dish in Savoie and Haut Savoie is the raclette, where half a wheel of cheese is slowly melted under a heat lamp and you scrape it off (with your raclette) onto cured meat, potatoes or bread.
