A 45-year-old rider with a good record living in London will be looking at at least £500 for fully comprehensive (and that’s with a hefty Excess of £1450) and half of that for Third Party, Fire and Theft (TPF&T). It’s a very different story out in the country — the same rider in rural Leicestershire can get fully comp for under £180 (with a £500 excess) and TPF&T for just £125.
