WHAT WORKS WHAT DOESN’T
Flyscreen visor useful
It only adds a four-inch lip to the flyscreen but Triumph’s own tinted ‘visor’ (£52) still lifts the wind blast off your chest. The trade off is more turbulence and noise levels.
Brakes better after recall
Replacement Brembo front pads were installed at the 600-mile service under a safety recall and, for no obvious reason, the new set are perkier than the originals.
Mirrors are vulnerable
Bar-end mirrors make the inherently slim Triple wider than it needs to be. They also blur at most engine speeds and are vulnerable to scrapes when going for gaps.
