Three great places to visit
BEST FOR HISTORY
The Bog Mine and Visitor Centre
Fascinating walk around the remains of an abandoned mining village. The visitor centre is the old school building and there’s plenty of evidence of the local history. Home-made cake in visitor centre is legendary.

BEST FOR CASTLES Clun Castle
Wonderful Norman castle ruins with commanding views of the local area that stretch all the way to Wales on a good day.
