Hornets up their Quirky partnership

-

ROCHDALE Hornets have increased their partnership with the Quirky Catering Company for 2017 after a successful year working together.

Both parties have decided to extend the sponsorship agreement, with Quirky also moving their brand from the traditional shirt front to a shorts location.

The Rochdale-based caterers will be supplying their delicious home-cooked recipes to the players and hospitality guests at the Crown Oil Arena as the Hornets compete in the Kingstone Press Championship in 2017.

In addition, the club has agreed with Quirky owner Ben Boothman that the Flying Horse, one of the oldest and most popular pubs in Rochdale, will be the ‘Official Pre-Game Pub’ for the Hornets and visiting supporters.

Boothman is glad to be extending the partnership, and is excited for the future ahead.

“Quirky Catering is pleased to continue our support of Rochdale Hornets for the 2017 Season. We look forward to providing our high quality home cooked food for guests and players,” he said.

“It is also great that the Flying Horse, a favourite venue in the town since 1691, is linking up with Hornets to be the official pre-game venue for all fans on match days.

“It will be great to provide Hornets fans and visiting fans with our well-known beers and excellent food.”

Rochdale Hornets chairman Mark Wynn was just as pleased with the news, and has welcomed the returning partner.

“The Hornets and the Flying Horse or lasting symbols of Rochdale life and it is fantastic that we have been able to link up with them,” he said.

“Quirky Catering provide an outstanding service to our players and guests and to have them continue as sponsors for 2017 is a real boost to us all. I would like to thank Ben and his staff for their continued support and we look forward to many celebrations throughout the season.”

Quirky Catering will be supplying the food for a Business Network Lunch at the Crown Oil Arena on Tuesday 6 December from 12 noon – with just a few places left.

Those wishing to join have to book by emailing info@ hornetsrugbyleague. com.

The first chance that fans will get to meet with the Hornets at the Flying Horse will be on Tuesday 13 December when the club will host a night of music and entertainment and to launch the 2017 playing kit. To reserve a place email info@ hornetsrugbyleague. com.
