Derby raid to kickstart second half

-

ROCHDALE RUFC’s first team travel to one of their closest neighbours hoping to get some points on the board to kick start the second half of the season.

Eccles are the only club under Rochdale in the league and five points should not be too much to ask.

They certainly would be much welcomed.

The signs were there last week and a win would bring confidence.

Tom Helliwell injured last week is replaced by Gui Dasousa who caused trouble for the Kirkby side last time out, once he learns his trade he will surely become quite a handful. Josh Schofield is back from injury and his extra pace is needed.

The front row will be bolstered by the return of Harry Hill.
