St Mary in the Baum at 9.30am and St Chad’s at 11am - Sung Eucharist.
Wednesdays at St Mary’s, 10am - Holy Communion.
Sunday next, January 29, at St Chad’s at 11am - Sung Eucharist - a united service for the Benefice of St Chad’s, St Mary’s and St Edmund’s.
No morning service at St Mary’s. St Mary’s at 6pm: Special service for Candlemas. Celebrate light in the darkness, hope where there is despair, joy where there is sadness.
Monday’s at St Mary’s 10am to 3pm - British Red Cross - for the support of refugees and asylum seekers.
Wednesday next, January 25, at St Mary’s at 12.30pm - Toad Lane lunchtime concert, Sarah Simmonds (soprano) and Sarah Murphy (piano). Refreshments and lunches served from 11.30am.
Thursdays at St Chad’s at noon - A place of Welcome, with lunch provided.
Monday, February 6, St Chad’s, 7.30pm - Annual Christian Aid Event for Rochdale. ‘EXTENDING God’s Welcome’ www.stthomaskirkholt.net.
We gather for worship on Wednesdays and Sundays at 10am. This Sunday we will be taking part in the Week of Prayer for Christian Unity. There will be Sunday Club for primary-school aged children, refreshments follow, and everybody is welcome. A Prayer Walk begins from Holy Family Church, Mornington Road, at 3pm. Our community café Kirky Kitchen is open on Tuesday and Wednesday from 9am to 3pm for breakfast, lunch, homemade cakes, community and chat! There is a new soft play area for 0-fives and magazines for adults, good company and free wifi. With the new year has come a new format, so expect some free stuff and a good value fixed price menu when you come!
Tuesdays: Toddler Time 9-11am, Lunch Club 12-1pm, Tea&Talk 2-3pm, Table Games 2-3pm. SUNDAY, January 22, 10.30am we are holding a member-led service to which all are welcome.
Mondays at 6.30pm, yoga for beginners and more experienced.
