Lunch for players of years gone by

-

ROCHDALE Hornets and Rugby League Cares are holding a lunch for Past Players, particularly over 55s at The Crown Oil Arena on Friday 3rd March 3 from midday.

It is a part of a Heritage Project to collect and record memories of your time at Hornets.

If you are able to and would like to attend please email James.Cannings@ hornetsrugbyleague. com or call the club on 01706 648004 to book your place, and please pass this on to as many other former Hornets players as you can

There is also a fans event, again aimed at over 55s, at the same venue on March 10 starting at 10am and will last around two hours.

It is a great chance for both past players and long-serving Hornets supporters to share their most cherished memories of a club which has played a big part in their life.

The end goal is to record all memories and recording to put towards a play which is being written, so make sure you join us and let us know about your favourite times with Rochdale.

Hornets will be using HUDL during the 2017 Championship season as they look to benefit from using one of the leading software companies in the industry.

Throughout their campaign this year the club will be using the software to analyse match footage so that first team coaches can feedback to players during video review sessions.

This means that Alan Kilshaw and his dedicated coaching team can track stats such as the amount of carries and tackles.
