Second Ireland cap for Matty
MATTY Lund made his first competitive appearance for Northern Ireland on Sunday, after featuring in their World Cup Qualifier against Norway at Windsor Park.
The Dale midfielder was introduced as a substitute in the 88th minute, replacing Leeds United’s Stuart Dallas to earn his second cap for his country.
Michael O’Neil’s side were 2-0 winners over the Norwegians and currently sit second in their qualifying group behind leaders Germany.
Northern Ireland were drawn in Group C alongside Azerbaijan, Germany, Norway and San Marino. They’ve played five games so far, winning three, drawing one and losing the other.
Lund earned his first senior cap in November, playing 45 minutes in a friendly against Croatia.
Meanwhile, the club is offering a £10 family ticket offer for all households in the borough.

To take up the offer, simply complete and return the advert on the back of the Council Tax leaflet and return it to the RAFC Ticket Office.
Please note, family tickets include a maximum of two adults and three children aged under 16 for the Pearl Street Stand only. The offer is only available on tickets purchased from the RAFC Ticket Office in person on production of the leaflet. Tickets purchased at the turnstiles, over the phone or via the internet are excluded from the offer. Tickets can be purchased in advance of the game, or from the RAFC Ticket Office on matchday. The leaflet can only be redeemed once.
