Dale run-in will be pressure free

-

ROCHDALE boss Keith Hill has told his players to enjoy pressure-free football between now and the end of the League One season.

Dale picked up a 3-1 win at Chesterfield on Saturday to remain in contention for a play-off place – they are six points behind sixth-placed Southend with a game in hand.

And ahead of last night’s trip to AFC Wimbledon, Hill said Dale were free of pressure now that their League One status had been secured.

“It gives us 57 points with eight games to go. We are playing out the season, we are not on the beach, but can play free of any pressure,” he said.

“There is no pressure on you have a pitch like ours the first foul. He did over Thomas Stuckmann us, we’re not in a relegation that saturates energy.
