Be part of Dale’s exciting season

-

ROCHDALE supporters are being urged to beat the clock and secure their discounted season ticket before tonight’s 8pm cut ouff point.

Season ticket prices will rise to £250 this evening for anyone who has not paid their £50 deposit.

Chief executive Russ Green is calling on all Rochdalians to make the most of the club’s offer.

“We really urge supporters to come along and get their £50 deposit paid by Wednesday in order o watch League One football at the Crown Oil Arena for just over eight pounds, which is fantastic value,” he said.

“We’ve made a few excellent signings and we’ve a few more to come. The manager likes to do his homework properly and won’t rush into anything, but it makes for an exciting season ahead with new players on board and the stadium currently being refurbished and looking brighter and more customer friendly. That’s a long term plan as well, we can’t do that overnight but we’re getting there. These are excitng times and we want the town to be part of it.”

The Season Ticket Deposit scheme is one of several initiatives the club has run in the last 12 months designed to attract greater numbers to the Crown Oil Arena.

“I’d like to thank all the fans for supporting us in our initiatives over the last year,” added Green, who joined the club last summer.

“The half season ticket and the council iniatives received great feedback and showed us there are supporters out there who want to come, and I think it’s just a case of getting people to come along – once they do and see what a good club it is, hopefully they’ll get hooked on it.”

And after a fortnight’s holiday, Green is back in the thick of things.

“You have a couple of weeks off and then you are ready for the new season! It’s mad!” he said. “But this is our busy time, during the close season as we prepare for the new season and these are exciting times.”
