Hill’s concerned by Dale apathy

ROCHDALE boss Keith Hill insists his players cannot afford to rely on a repeat of last season’s slow start to the League One campaign.

Dale went seven games without a win 12 months ago but bounced back to challenge for a play-off place.

Three games into the new campaign and with one point from a possible nine, the Dale chief admitted he was ‘concerned’ by apathy within the ranks.

Following Saturday’s 3-2 defeat at Shrewsbury, Hill said: “I’m really concerned because there view to hand the home front because we looked a gamble with using all enthusiasm and seems to be an apathy to it side the three points. real danger and a real of our substitutions having his energy,” said Hill. all. ‘Well we got going last “When we went 1-0 up, threat, and arguably we already made one with “When we recruited season, so it’s just a matter I thought we should probably should have converted Callum Camps getting him, he could have stayed of time’, but it isn’t. have gone 2-0 up but more opportunities. injured. at Manchester United for
