WARM welcome awaits, on behalf of all the staff, students, parents and governors of Oulder Hill Community School; a highly successful school and a centre of excellence for languages in Rochdale.

The school was graded as “good” by Ofsted in 2012 and as “outstanding” for how many parents would recommend it for the fourth consecutive year in 2017.

Oulder Hill is a very happy, caring and vibrant place to learn and teach. Over the years it has become a first-choice school and now has 300 students in year 7.

Staff care passionately about every student and have an ethos where every individual can, and does, thrive no matter what their starting point.

Oulder Hill’s shared vision is “our best, always, everywhere” and the school is driven to giving every child the best possible start in life.

The three main stated aims are to enable young people to become:

Successful students who enjoy learning and make outstanding progress whatever their starting point

Confident individuals who are able to live happy, safe, healthy and fulfilling lives Responsible citizens who make a positive and valuable contribution to society On a day-to-day basis this means the school has very high standards and expectations of all students.

It aims for every minute of every day to be an outstanding experience for all students through the “our best, always, everywhere” culture.

The school’s open evening on Thursday September 21 is designed to give you a flavour of what makes Oulder Hill such a special place and is a great opportunity to meet students and staff.

The school looks forward to welcoming you on the evening. Alternatively, visits to the school are welcome throughout the year, appointments can be made via the reception team. For more information, visit www.oulderhill-school.com
