Hospice to host ‘network natter’

-

SPRINGHILL Hospice is holding an event for local businesses to ‘natter and network’ as the same time as supporting the hospice.

Following the success of this summer’s Business Buddies Big Breakfast, business representatives from all over the borough are invited to attend the Business Buddies Winter Big Breakfast on Wednesday, November 22.

Corporate and events fundraiser Sophie Ansley said: “We’re hoping to repeat the success of our Summer Big Breakfast when we were joined by delegates from over 60 local companies and as we’re holding the event in a fully heated marquee in the grounds of the Hospice, this time we can welcome a whole lot more.”

Business Buddies is a scheme that enables local companies to support Springhill Hospice.

By making a donation of as little as £25 a month, Business Buddies receive benefits including free networking meetings and their logo and hyperlink appearing on the Hospice’s website. Already over 50 local businesses have pledged their support and buddied up with Springhill.

Lorna Ferry, accounts director at Digital Telecom, one of Springhill’s newest Business Buddies, said: “As a Rochdale based business we champion and support Springhill Hospice for the incredible service they provide to the heart of our local community. We are extremely proud and excited to be working with the hospice and Business Buddies Scheme.”

For information and to book a place email Sophie at sophie.ansley@nhs.net or call 01706 641790 (opt 1). The event is free for members of the Business Buddies Scheme and just £5 for non-members.
