Take the lead with walkies to help keep Sasha at home

-

COULD you help to care for this beautiful dog?

A charity is looking for a volunteer to help a borough resident walk her 11-year-old German shepherd cross Sasha.

The Cinnamon Trust is a national charity which helps people over retirement age and those in the latter stages of a terminal illness by offering all kinds of pet care.

They are looking to find someone who could help Sasha by taking her out for walks.

Sasha is well behaved but very strong.

The charity offers support when people are facing illness, injury or advancing age and need extra help to look after their pets.

A large number of elderly or ill pet owners become very worried about their ability to care for their pets, feeling that their only option is to rehome them.

The charity exists so animals can stay with their owners, thanks to a national network of dedicated volunteers who step in to offer support.

They walk dogs for housebound owners, foster pets when owners need hospital care, fetch the cat food, even clean out the bird cage or litter trays.

All volunteers help in the ways that are most appropriate to them.
