Anglers all set for festive fishing

TODMORDEN Angling Society’s Christmas Match – the Pete Barrow Memorial – takes place on 9th December 2018.

It’s a ticket only event with tickets being available from Tight Line Shaw and Rochdale Angling.

Tickets are £15 (senior including pools) or £7 (junior no pools) including pie and peas dinner.

Draw at the Falcon Hotel, Littleborough up to 9am – Fish 10am to 1pm.

Breakfast available beforehand (payable). Presentation back at the Falcon at 3pm followed by the raffle at 4pm.

Members only match, bring your 2018 membership with you.

T.A.S were happy to help Ribble Rivers Trust and provide Portsmouth Reservoir for three Princes Trust sessions in early November which were very well attended with over 100 fish being caught.

We would happily welcome this group back in the future.

As with every year the season for the Cormorant and Goosander has started, if you have any sightings or any images of these birds on our waters please let us have them, the details of our predation team are in the membership book and are on the website. Where’s Fishing? Portsmouth Reservoir is fishing well with paste on pole and soaked pellet on the method feeder.
