Restaurant has a new look
A RESTAURANT chain has spent £500,000 on a brand-new look while bringing an additional 20 jobs to the town.
Harvester has unveiled a new look and new flavours for its Bamford restaurant, the Sir Winston Churchill.
The newly-refurbished Bury Road site opened to diners on Thursday, November 29.
The restaurant had been closed for two weeks while the half-a-million pound refurbishment was completed and new staff were hired.
The restaurant’s management says the spruced-up Sir Winston Churchill will be the perfect place for friends and families to spend quality time together over a great tasting meal.
Jennifer Harrison, the restaurant’s general manger, said her team were excited to welcome guests into the new-look eatery. She said: “The restaurant looks fantastic and guests have already been very complimentary about the new look and menu.
“The team are excited to welcome guests, both new and old into the restaurant and we would encourage anyone who hasn’t been to the Sir Winston Churchill to come find out what we’re all about.
“We want to create a welcoming and relaxing place that dishes up feel-good food, with a healthy balance for all diets included in the choice, and we’re thrilled to be providing Rochdale with a revamped restaurant and some delicious new dishes.
“The new look restaurant has an exciting menu with some tasty new dishes and firm favourites like rotisserie chicken and slow cooked ribs, plus the unlimited Salad Bar.”
Jennifer explained how the new refurbishment would give the site its family-friendly appeal.
She said: “At Harvester, we understand the importance of creating places where people can get together and share good times. This is why we have great sharing dishes on our menu and reworked our space, bringing in larger tables and circular booths for a sociable dining experience. We’ve also introduced an exciting new Food Hub that has a variety of tasty sauces to choose from.”
