Dairy is in the mix for business of year award
A DAIRY has been named as a finalist for a prestigious business of the year award.
Kingsway-based Lancashire Farm Dairies have been producing a range of award-winning natural yoghurts since they were formed in 1984.
The company have been revealed as finalists for the M.E.N. Business of the Year Awards 2019 later this year.
Managing Director Azhar Zouq said: “We’re thrilled that we’ve been shortlisted as a finalist for the M.E.N. business awards. It’s great to see our growth and strategy has been recognised by the judges.”
Nominated in a category for businesses with a turnover of between £25-50m, they will be competing against a loan agency, an innovative packaging company and a manufacturing specialist.
The firm will be one of a number of top performing companies from a range of sectors including tech, construction manufacturing and fashion to feature in the awards 27th year.
An overwhelming amount of companies entered this year and judges spent months visiting each entrant before gathering to agree shortlists for each category.

The event will take place at The Principal, Manchester, on Thursday, November 14.
