Wedding show gets new home
COUPLES planning to tie the knot will be heading to Rochdale Wedding Show next year as organisers announce the date and a new venue.
For 2020, the popular show moves to Mercure Norton Grange Hotel and Spa, as its current home Rochdale Town Hall prepares - to close for major restoration.

Taylor said they are planning another strong lineup for next autumn, bringing around 35 of the borough’s creative, stylish and inspiring suppliers to the Norton Grange alongside breath-taking catwalk shows, live music and more.
Outside there’ll be a collection of contemporary wedding cars as well as a few surprises.
Earlier this year the event saw more than 450 people through the door looking for inspiration for their big day.
Local companies exhibited the latest collections and trends in bridal wear, formal menswear and everything in between from flowers and classic cars, to photography, venue dressing, catering, cakes, entertainment, makeup, jewellery and decorations.
Next year couples will also get the chance to see Norton Grange’s recently updated thermal suite, beauty treatment rooms, heated pool and function rooms, enjoying prosecco and cake in the bistro while you contemplate your options.
Sue said: “The upcoming restoration of the town hall presents the opportunity to move this really successful event to another stunning local venue.
“Rochdale Wedding Show is always the ultimate afternoon out for anyone looking to peruse their options ahead of the big day - especially if they’re looking for something a little different.
“It will be another fabulous showcase for superb local companies and for the Mercure Norton Grange Hotel and Spa – one of Greater Manchester’s most prestigious wedding destinations.”
The wedding show will take place on Sunday, September 20.
