-

ROCHDALE AFC will be holding a Community Day at the Crown Oil Arena when Dale face Gillingham on Saturday 25th January.

The club will be taking applications for their Junior Takeover and for local junior teams to be flag bearers on the day, as well as issuing over 300 tickets to local primary schools.

Not only that, it’s Kids For A Quid!

All Under-16s tickets are priced at just £1 for the game against Gillingham!

If you wish to sit in the Main Stand, then these must be purchased from the RAFC Ticket Office in advance. Cash turnstiles will be in operation for the Smith Metals Family Stand and the Sandy Lane.

To buy in advance, supporters can go online at www.rafctickets.co. uk, visit the Dale Ticket Office in person or give us a call on 01706 644648 (option 8).

Fans should note that the club do NOT charge a booking fee for matchday ticket orders placed over the phone or online.

Online orders can be placed up until midnight the night before the game.

Any tickets bought in advance, either online or over the phone, can be collected from the Club’s Ticket Collection cabin open from 1pm on matchday. The Ticket Collection Cabin is located opposite the five-a-side pitch, at the Smith Metals Family Stand end of the ground.

The club is inviting all local junior grassroots football teams to be flag bearers as part of the Community Day, which has been designated for this upcoming fixture.

The flag bearing initiative has proved to be extremely successful in recent years, with youngsters lining the pitch as the teams enter the pitch before kick-off.

Bookings must be made in advance, so if you represent a local team and would like to take part, then please contact Sales &

Marketing Director Frances Fielding. Email: frances@rochdaleafc. co.uk; Tel: 01706 753581.

Each team will receive free tickets for the players, as well as two complimentary adult tickets for their coaches. Additional tickets for parents, coaches and guardians will be available to pre-book.

Youngsters should wear their team kits on the day. Children will receive a free goody bag for taking part.

Saturday will be Junior Takeover day when Dale fans aged between 7-11 were able to apply for a number of matchday roles throughout the Club.
