ROCHDALE shoppers have successfully helped raise £3,654 for numerous charities across the region through a variety of events hosted by Rochdale Exchange Shopping Centre in 2019, beating last year’s total by more than £1,000.

Over the course of 2019, the centre delivered a host of activities that helped to generate the cash. The money will now be donated to Rochdale Connections Trust, Rochdale Food Bank, Springhill Hospice and Manchester Children’s Hospital.

Lorenzo O’Reilly, Rochdale Exchange Shopping Centre manager, said: “We are absolutely delighted with how successful all our charity campaigns have been over the last year.
