Top chef is offering video ‘cook-along’
AS businesses are forced to innovate to stay afloat – with some offering home deliveries – a fine-dining restaurant in Rochdale is offering a ‘home cook-along.’
Nutters, on Edenfied Road, Rochdale, is offering customers the chance to purchase all the ingredients they’ll need from the restaurant, before following restauranteur Andrew Nutter in a video where they will cook along with him, to create the fine dining experience at home.
The post has attracted over 500 likes on Facebook and over 200 comments in just 12 hours.
The post reads: “Exciting news.
“Bored of being stuck in the house and want a bit of fun?
“Why not join Andrew and his team in a home cook along?
“Simply come up to the restaurant and purchase your raw packaged ingredients.
“Including a main course for two, dessert for two, and a bottle of house wine.”
Customers will be able to create a golden roast chicken supreme, wild garlic mash potatoes, and a fine Roma tomato salsa.
This will be followed by a chocolate brownie slab to share.
The cook along video went live at 6pm on Friday on Facebook page, Nutters Restaurant Official.
The post added: “We will not be beaten!
“Nutters isolation home cook along!”
It included a video of Andrew surrounded by fresh vegetables offering the chance to cook with him to his customers.
It is not known if the videos will become a regular feature while the nation is still gripped by coronavirus.
