Burglars take parrots
THREE baby parrots were stolen during a burglary in Middleton.
The four-week-old Green Neck Parrots were snatched during a break-in the early hours of Sunday morning, and may die if they are not found.
Police have launched an investigation into their disappearance.
The chicks were being hand reared by their owner after being rejected by their mother.
Police say the tiny birds require hand feeding every two hours to stay alive.
