Poster youth could have designs on a £50 prize

-

ROCHDALE residents aged between 13 and 18 are being invited to enter a poster competition to be in with a chance to win a top prize of a £50 Amazon voucher.

The competition is to design an eye-catching persuasive poster with images/graphics to encourage young people to join Youthwatch.

Healthwatch Rochdale is the independent champion for residents in the Rochdale Borough.

Youthwatch will build on the current work of Healthwatch Rochdale, specifically focusing on enabling the youth voice to be heard.

Youthwatch Rochdale will be made up of representatives of the youth of Rochdale, aged 13-18 years old, who will help us understand the experiences of young people who use health and social care services and give them a voice in helping to shape future services.

Kate Jones, Healthwatch Rochdale chief executive officer, said: “This competition is the starting block of developing our Youthwatch which will help give the youth of Rochdale a voice in how local health and social care services are delivered. We want Youthwatch Rochdale to be developed and shaped by our local youth and our poster competition is the first step in giving our young people that opportunity”.

You can find full requirements and terms and conditions for the Youthwatch Poster competition visiting the group’s website.

Alternatively, you can ring the office on 01706 249 575 or email naomi. kenyon@healthwatchrochdale.org.uk.
