Council aiming to fill key roles at jobs events

ROCHDALE council is holding two special recruitmen­t fairs as its looks to fill a number of key roles.

The fairs will showcase jobs in areas like planning, HR, finance, early years, IT, customer services, environmen­tal management, social work, healthcare, school support, economic developmen­t, teaching, cleaning and other roles like fostering or being a school governor.

Opportunit­ies are available for students, college and university graduates, qualified profession­als and people with experience and range of full-time, part-time, permanent and casual roles available.

Also, at the event the council’s work and skills team will be on hand to support people with how to complete applicatio­n forms, write a strong CV and they will be able to support applicatio­ns to apply for vacancies on the day.

The fairs are being held on: Thursday 12 May 2022, 2pm - 6pm at Number One

Riverside Saturday 14 May 2022 9am – 12:30pm at Number One Riverside
