Get your skates on to claim last disco tickets
THE last tickets for a popular skating programme that will finish at the end of this month are being sold.
Would-be skaters have until Sunday, May 29 to join this year’s Public Skate Disco Summer Skating Programme at Rollercity Rochdale.
Sessions have been running since Sunday, May 22 and the final tickets are being sold for tomorrow’s last slots.
Manager of Rollercity, Zaf Mahmood, said: “This is a fantastic venue serving the local community oozing with nostalgia!
“Loved by children parents and grandparents of all shapes and sizes and nationalities.
“I can honestly say it’s such a pleasure to be part of Rollercity and provide something that means so much to the community!”
Different genres of family friendly music along with music videos such as Tragedy by Bees Gees and songs from Little Mix, Bruno Mars and Steps will be played on three wall screens while guests skate.
Lights of various colours will light up the room to create a disco feel.
The two hour sessions are suitable for all skating abilities and it is recommended that children over five-years-old attend.
Tickets must be bought one day in advance to avoid disappointment and you will need take proof of purchase.
The sessions are Saturday, May 28 1-3pm, 3-5pm, 5-7pm and 7-9pm, Sunday, May 29 1-3pm and 3-5pm.
Prices for entry range from £10.00 – £12.00 depending on the day and time selected.
