A PLANNING application has been submitted to Rossendale Borough Council for the construction of a first floor extension over an existing single storey extension at 292 Newchurch Road in Rawtenstall. An application has also been submitted for a two storey rear extension to a property at 103 Fallbarn Crescent in Rawtenstall.

GOODSHAW Baptist Church will be hosting its annual summer fete on Saturday, July 2 at the church on Chapel Street from 1.30pm-4pm.

ROSSENDALE Responsible Animal Rescue, along with Britain’s Got Talent semi finalists Bosom Buddies, will be hosting a fundraiser at the Artisan on Brook Street in Rawtenstall on Sunday, July 17.

ST Mary’s CE Primary School in Rawtenstall will be holding a summer fair on Saturday, July 9 from 11am-4pm. Activities on the day will include a bouncy castle, inflatable slide, henna painting, tombolas and raffles.

CRAWSHAWBOOTH’S annual family fun day in aid of Kids in Rossendale will be held on Sunday, July 10, from 11am-5pm. Activities on offer include a tombola, raffle, barbecue, face painting, archery, and bouncy castles.
