RISING Bridge roadworks to over-run into mid September (‘Roundabout works to go on for extra two weeks’ August 12)
Emma Farrow: Shocking delays, two lanes down to one and 2 men working at the end of the by pass? Why on earth do they need to make it 2 lanes? Move the cones so people can drive, put a sign up saying cautious no road markings and if people crash then they need to learn to drive! Victoria Pascoe-Kendall: Whose idea was this? Completely unnecessary, the £4.5 million could have been put to better use. Andy Stott: No surprise, pointless money spent. They could have repaired all the pot holes instead. Tracey Askew: It’s disgraceful our valley has been held up every summer for years.
