CASES heard at Burnley Magistrates Court:

DALE Adam Winter, 29, of Park Road, Padiham, pleaded guilty to using a car without insurance, using a car without a licence, drink driving on Newchurch Road in Bacup and failing to surrender into custody having been released on bail. He was fined £400, ordered to pay £85 costs and disqualified from driving for 14 months.

DAVID James Lister, 39, of New Barn Lane, Rawtenstall, pleaded guilty to assault by beating. He was fined £220 and ordered to pay £100 compensation and £85 costs.

MARK Dylan Attenborough, 43, of Rockcliffe Street, Rawtenstall, was found guilty of criminal damage and assault by beating. He was given an 18-month conditional discharge order and ordered to pay £600 compensation and £500 costs.

ROBERT Fitzsimmons, 44, of Butts Street, Leigh, pleaded guilty to driving while disqualified on Newchurch Road in Bacup and using a car without insurance. He was given a two-week community order with a curfew requirement, ordered to pay £200 costs and given six points on his driving licence.

MARTIN Chadderton, 26, of Piercey Mount, Waterfoot, pleaded guilty to failing to comply with the supervision requirements following his release from prison. He was jailed for 14 days. CASES heard at Blackburn Magistrates Court:

REBECCA Clare Barcroft, 33, of Lord Avenue, Bacup, was found guilty in her absence of using a television without a licence. She was fined £60 and ordered to pay £160 costs.

LEVI Love, 25, of Sandfield Road, Bacup, pleaded guilty to using a television without a licence. He was fined £40 and ordered to pay £120 costs.

ADELE Mills, 31, of Abbey Street, Bacup, was found guilty in her absence of using a television without a licence. She was fined £220 and ordered to pay £120 costs.

BRIDIE Richards, 27, of Cooper Street, Bacup, was found guilty in her absence of using a television without a licence. She was fined £220 and ordered to pay £120 costs.
