New law firm opened up in the town
A NEW business offering legal protection for other companies has launched in Rawtenstall.
Mr Finch, a law firm founded by commercial litigator Mark Fallon, of Haslingden Old Road, Rawtenstall, has opened at the Kingfisher Business Centre on Burnley Road.
Mark, 51, has been a solicitor since 1991 and has more than 20 years of experience working in commercial litigation and with some of the top law firms in the UK.
He said: “This is a brand new firm. I got that urge to do something on my own.
“I got tired of the perception of solicitors - some of which is deserved - and wanted to set up a firm to do something different and target small to medium business enterprises.”
Mark trained as a solicitor in Blackburn and was a partner at Irwin Mitchell in Leeds for 18 years before deciding to branch out on his own.
At Mr Finch, the services on offer will predominately focus on human resources and legal support for business owners and help with the challenges they face.
The firm’s core objective is to be a one stop shop for business owners, should they require access to legal advice.
Mark and his staff’s aim is to educate business owners as they guide them through potential risks to their business.
They will handle employment matters, tribunals, shareholder disputes and agreements, and will offer just fixed fees, so that clients do not need to worry about rising costs
Mark added: “I love the Rossendale area and we felt we could put something together to offer businesses protection.
“I like to think of it like getting vaccinations for going on holiday.
“It’s hard enough running a business without having to worry about legal problems.
“Having us on a retained fee gives peace of mind.
“Rossendale is a thriving area and we want to support the businesses
