MR Martin Tetlow, of Northfield Road, Rising Bridge, died on Saturday, March 11 at Royal Blackburn, aged 60.

Martin worked for Duraly most of his working life before becoming a proprietor of a card shop in Leyland until 2013.

He was one of the original team to bring back the steam trains to the East Lancs Railway.

He was also an avid football fan of Blackburn Rovers and Oldham rugby club.

He leaves his sister Gillian and brother John and their families.

The funeral took place on Wednesday, March 22 with service and cremation at Accrington Crematoriu­m officiated by Rev Andrew Turner.

Born in Singelton, she moved to Helmshore shortly after her marriage to Gordon.

Joan worked as cook in charge at Warner Street Kitchens before becoming cook at Helmshore County Primary school prior to retirement.

She was a member of the Ladies Committee and fundraiser for Rossendale Fell Rescue Team.

The funeral takes place on Friday, March 24 with a service at St Thomas’s Church, Helmshore at 11am followed by committal at Accrington Crematoriu­m officiated by Fr Terry Murnane.

AGNES HOWARD

MRS Agnes Howard, of Bury Old Road, Shuttlewor­th, died on Thursday, March 9 at Burrswood Nursing Home, Bury, aged 91.

Wife of the late Jack she leaves four sons Michael, John, Peter and David, three daughters-in-law Elaine, Gillian and Judith, four grandsons John, Carl, Damien and Glen, three granddaugh­ters Erin, Emily and Frieya, her sister Mary, nieces and nephews.

Born at Scout Moor, Agnes has lived at Twine Terrace most of her life and was a cotton operative at Lodge Mill, and Irwell Vale Mill.

The funeral will take on Monday, March 27 with service at Edenfield Parish Church at 1pm followed by interment at St John in the Wilderness, Edenfield.

TREVOR JOHNSON

MR Trevor Johnson, of Burnley Road East, Waterfoot, passed away on Tuesday, March 21, aged 68.

He started in the footwear industry before moving on to the area of mental health up until his retirement.

His hobbies and interests included fishing and watching sport and spending time with his family.

He leaves wife Lily, daughters Lynne and Rachel, sons-in-law Jonathan and Stephen, grandchild­ren Jack, Olivia and Charlie, sister Myra, brothers Stephen and Neville and their families.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 31, with a few words at the Chapel of Rest at 10.40am followed by a service and cremation at Burnley Crematoriu­m at 11.20am.

Family flowers only please, however donations, if desired, requested for Macmillan Nurses or Rossendale Hospice.

NANCY ULLOCK

MRS Nancy Ullock, of Gregory Fold, Helmshore, died on Sunday, March 19 at Royal Blackburn, aged 80.

She leaves her husband Keith, three daughters Sandra, Dinah and Sarah, six grandchild­ren Simon, Charlotte, Jessica, Jake, Sam and Felicity, three great-grandchild­ren Aimee, Callum and Elliot, sister Dorothy, nieces and nephews.

Nancy came to Helmshore 40 years ago from Ullverston where as a young girl she worked as a Tracer at Vickers Armstrong Naval Yard in Barrow-in-Furness.

Nancy was a homemaker and devoted to her family.

The funeral will take place on Monday, March 27 with service at St Thomas’s Church, Helmshore at 10am followed by committal at Accrington Crematoriu­m officiated by Fr Terry Murnane.

ANNETTE DORRIAN

MRS Annette Dorrian, of Croft Street, Bacup died peacefully at home on Tuesday, March 21, aged 65.

Born in Manchester she came to live in Bacup in 1993. She was employed as a duty manager at Quicksave in Rawtenstal­l for ten years until its closure. She enjoyed holidays abroad, caravannin­g, watching Bacup cricket club and having dogs but mainly being with her loving family.

She leaves her husband Thomas, daughter Amanda, son-in-law Stephen, grandchild­ren Owen and Devon, son Darren, daughter-in-law Koren and many friends.

A service will be held at Burnley Crematoriu­m on Thursday, March 30 at 3.40pm conducted by Mr Peter Cox.

Family flowers only are requested with donations in lieu to Rosemere Cancer Foundation if so desired.
