Angry at parking ticket? You can spray that again!
AMOTORIST who got a ticket after leaving his car in what he thought was a legitimate parking space decided to warn others... with spray paint.
Witnesses said the man, who had parked while shopping at Tesco in Ramsbottom, pulled out a can and wrote ‘not a space’.

After spotting the penalty notice on his windscreen one afternoon, the driver decided to take matters into his own hands.
Parking has been an issue for residents and shoppers alike in Ramsbottom town centre for many years, according to councillor Rob Hodkinson.
He said: “Cars do park there on a regular basis - but it is not a definitely parking bay.
“There should be one white line either side but the lines on the car park are so badly worn it’s difficult to tell.
“I can understand the driver being upset but to vandalise the area is unacceptable.
“Enforcement isn’t a regular thing in Ramsbottom so people park there once and get away with it then they try it again.
“The town has a real shortage of parking spaces and it’s an issue the councillors are working on.”
It is not the first time spray paint has been used to make a point in Ramsbottom. In 2015, a mystery pot-hole campaigner who styled himself as ‘*anksy’ began spraying phallic symbols around pot-holes in a bid to get them fixed.
His methods seemed to be working, with many of the holes being filled within 48 hours.
