Team are looking for recruits

THE Haslingden branch of the Prince’s Trust Team are looking for new recruits to join their personal development training programme.

Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service want to involve recruits aged between 16-25 for the next team that starts on Monday, May 8.

The free programme runs for 12 weeks and gives members the opportunity to complete a formal qualification, and gain work experience.

It is predominantly a practical course based at Haslingden fire station, on Manchester Road, and also includes a week at a residential activity centre.

A team of 15 comprises unemployed people, people leaving care, young offenders, students and workers sponsored by employers. Young people will carry out a project in the community, a work placement and take part in team challenges.
