On the ball to raise £2,610

GUESTS at the Mayor’s annual charity ball raised thousands for good causes.

Fundraising events, including a ‘wine and dine’ tree, an auction and a charity balloon-bursting activity raised £2,610 for Mayor Coun Granville Morris’ charity fund.

Attendees at the ball, at Haslingden Golf Club, enjoyed a three-course meal washed down with the unique vocal talents of singer Darren Shaw, who covered the Phantom of the Opera and Shirley Bassey.
