A ROSSENDALE firm scooped the title of Bathroom of the Year at the prestigious national suppliers’ awards against internationally known companies.

J and J Ormerod’s Eco Bathroom range had been shortlisted as one of just six finalists.

The Bacup-based business was assessed on criteria ranging from delivery to the quality of products, innovation, service and also how the company reacts to changing markets.

Northern area sales manager Andrew Filipowicz said: “Our significant increase in business within the group over the last few years contributed to our winning the award.

“Every aspect of the business was looked at. This is a massive award for JJO to have won. Although the company is 150 years old, we have only been manufacturing bathrooms in the UK for nine years; this a great accolade.”

Sales and marketing director John Pollitt said: “Everyone at JJO is absolutely delighted.”
