Double derby in Lancs League
SHELDAN KEAY IT is set to be another busy weekend in the Lancashire League as the local teams are set to go head to head with each other.
RAWTENSTALL host RAMSBOTTOM at the Worswick Memorial Ground, hoping to put their poor start to the season behind them.
Rawtenstall are yet to win a game so far, losing four and having one no result, leaving them bottom.
Ramsbottom have also found things tough, winning just one of their five matches.
It isn’t the only derby happening, as HASLINGDEN have a home game against neighbours BACUP at Bentgate.
Haslingden have looked impressive so far, winning three of their six games, with two no results and just one loss. That has left them fifth in the table.
Bacup are in 14th place after just one win.
Elsewhere in the Lancashire League this weekend, top of the table Clitheroe travel to Cliffe Park to take on joint-seventh Great Harwood.
Accrington have a home game against Enfield at Thorneyholme Road, while Church take on Rishton at Blackburn Road. Birch Hall plays host to Darwen against East Lancashire, Lowerhouse have a home game against Burnley, and Nelson take on Colne.
