Rawtenstal­l chase elusive first win

SHELDAN KEAY RAWTENSTAL­L win once again look to try and pick up their first victory of the season when they host Church at The Worswick Memorial Ground on Saturday.

Church picked up two wins last weekend which has left them seventh in the Lancashire League table, while Rawtenstal­l remain rooted to the bottom of the division.

HASLINGDEN have a home game to contend with as they welcome Enfield to Bentgate.

Enfield are in 12th place, after winning two, losing five and having two no results so far this season.

Haslingden have looked fairly impressive, finding themselves in joint-fourth place after losing just two of their nine matches.

RAMSBOTTOM are on their travels this weekend as they head to Birch Hall to take on Darwen.

Ramsbottom are 10th in the Lancashire League table after three wins so far, while Darwen are one of the strongest teams in the division so far, picking up six wins from eight games to leave them in third.

BACUP will try to get back to winning ways when they make the trip to Centre Vale for a game against Todmorden.

Bacup are second bottom in the table after just one win from eight games. Todmorden are in joint-fourth position.

Other games happening in the Lancashire League this weekend include Accrington vs Colne, Great Harwood vs Burnley, Lowerhouse vs East Lancashire and Nelson vs Rishton.
