Entertainment came from Samba Dance and Fitness, and Rossendale Responsible Animal Rescue provided a free micro-chipping service.

Coun David Chorlton, chairman of the committee, said everyone had a great day and thanked everyone involved.

Mrs Carole Pennington won the ‘guess the number of balloons in the car’ competition, courtesy of RRG Toyota Rochdale, and picked up a £150 Amazon voucher prize.
