Garry takes trophy in memory of Jim

BAXENDEN Golf Club hosted its inaugural JW Eke Memorial Trophy in remembrance of a much loved and much missed stalwart of the club, James Eke, who passed away last year through cancer.

Jim’s family donated a trophy for the winner of his competition and the first recipient is another popular member of the club in Garry Aspinall.

He was presented with the trophy on Saturday at the President’s Night celebrations.
