CASES heard at Burnley Magistrates Court:
TIA Hannah Joyce O’Callaghan, 19, of Langwood Court, Haslingden, pleaded guilty to three counts of committing fraud by false representation. She was ordered to pay £400 compensation.
SHARON Boniecki, 40, of Cutler Crescent, Bacup, pleaded guilty to two counts of shoplifting and one count of attempted theft. She was given a six-week curfew and ordered to pay £160 compensation.
JAMES Connell, 28, of Yorkshire Street, Bacup, pleaded guilty to obstructing a police officer in the execution of his duty. He was fined £180 and ordered to pay £85 costs.
JOHN James Rishton, 42, of Princes Parade, Liverpool, pleaded guilty to drink driving in Haslingden. He was given a 10-week jail sentence, suspended for 12 months, with a supervision requirement, ordered to carry out 150 hours’ unpaid work, ordered to pay £85 costs and disqualified from driving for 36 months, reduced by 36 weeks if he completes a course approved by the Secretary of State. WAYNE Taylor, 42, of Whitworth Road, Rochdale, pleaded guilty to shoplifting in Rawtenstall. He was given a six-month conditional discharge order.
DANIEL Paul Peter Cooban, 35, of Bolton Road, Blackburn, pleaded guilty to interfering with a car in Bacup with the intention to commit theft. He was fined £40.
EMRAN Khan Sajawal, 36, of Somerset Walk, Haslingden, was found guilty in her absence of being the parent of a child of compulsory school age who failed to attend that school regularly. He was fined £220 and ordered to pay £100 costs.
JONATHON Maynell, 26, of Cedar Avenue, Haslingden, pleaded guilty to two counts of assault by beating. He was fined £200 and ordered to pay £200 compensation and £85 costs.
DARREN Lee Melody, 35, of Studd Brow, Whitworth, pleaded guilty to shoplifting. He was given a three-month conditional discharge order.
