Crash tragedy dad was set for new start
AFATHER-OF-TWO who was due to start a new life abroad has died following a tragic road collision.
Michal Kayser, from Haslingden, had been out celebrating his birthday and saying farewell to friends when his car col- lided with a stone wall on Sunday, July 23.
Michal, who was expecting a third child with his long-term partner, suffered serious head and spinal injuries and was taken to Royal Preston Hospital, where he later died on July 29.
His family said Michal, 33, was due to ‘start a new life’ in Germany and had been celebrating both his birthday and saying goodbye to friends on the night of the incident.
In a tribute, his family said: “Michal’s heart has stopped beating but he will always stand beside us. Michal lost his fight for life and he will leave a big hole in all our lives.
“A book would not be a big enough space to write all that we feel. He was a loving family man that worked hard to provide for his family.
“He leaves behind a long-term partner and two beautiful little girls, aged six and two. He will also never know his yet unborn new baby.
“This is a true tragedy in all the sense and it hurts us all terribly as Michal was going to start a new life taking his family to Germany.”
Michal was due to leave the country on the day before he died, with his family due to follow in two weeks. The family statement added: “On the evening of his accident he was out celebrating his birthday and saying his last farewells to his friends in England.”
Tributes have also been paid to Michal on our Facebook page.

Police said Michal was travelling along Blackburn Road, Haslingden from Accrington towards Rawtenstall in a Nissan Almera at around 6.30am on July 23 when it lost control. The road was closed for three hours while an investigation took place.
Police are appealing for witnesses, but say no other vehicles are believed to be involved.
PS Malcolm Bell, of the Road Policing Unit, said: “These are tragic circumstances and my thoughts are with Mr Kayser’s family and friends at this time.
“We are continuing to appeal for information about the incident. We would urge anyone who was in the area and witnessed the collision to contact us.”
