On Paper Festival - Rossendale Launch: Hosted by Apna Rossendale, Russian artist Maryam Golubeva’s tented paper-cut ‘Silk Road’ installation with a poetry reading, and refreshments. The festival takes place from August 12-27 and encompasses the common theme of ‘paper,’ with workshops and 22 events taking place over the Rawtenstall and Rossendale areas. There’s lantern-making, calligraphy, mother and toddler, and mindfulness sessions, and lots more. Manchester Road Methodist Church, Manchester Road. Haslingden BB4.
