BARBARA LAW

BARBARA Eileen Law, of Willow Tree Avenue, Rawtenstall, died at Royal Blackburn Hospital, on Friday, September 29, aged 79.

She lived most of her life in Rawtenstall and worked in the Physiotherapy Department in Rossendale General Hospital for many years.

She loved to spend time with family and friends and enjoyed walking in the Yorkshire Dales and the Lake District.

She was married to the late Harry Law and leaves children Peter, Nicola and Martin, son-in-law John, daughter-in-law Stella, grandsons Sam and Adam, step-grandsons Chris, Andy and Josh and great-grandson Leo.

The funeral service, conducted by the Rev Peter Cox, was due to be held on Thursday, October 12 at Burnley Crematorium at 10.40am.

Family flowers only with donations to Crisis/ Shelter.

MR David Young, of Hillview Care Home, Rawtenstall, died on Sunday, October 1, at Hillview Care Home, aged 89.

He was a former coalminer, market trader and driver and retired from Woodfield Engineering as a driver in 1992.
