Rainbows help to clean town streets
RAINBOWS from 12th Rossendale (St James the Less) group enjoyed a visit from members of Civic Pride.
The group of 18 girls learned about litter and its effect on the environment.
They then put what they learnt into practice outside - collecting four bags of litter from streets from the pavements and verges around St James the Less Church, Rawtenstall.
Rainbows, celebrating their 30th birthday this year, are a section of Girlguiding for young girls aged five to seven.
