CASES heard at Burnley Magistrates Court:
STEPHEN Michael Ashworth, 21, of Brockclough Road, Whitewell Bottom, pleaded guilty to driving without due care and attention, failing to stop after an accident and failing to report an accident to police. He was fined £120, ordered to pay £85 costs and given seven points on his driving licence.
BEN Whitehead, 21, of Dale Street, Bacup, pleaded guilty to criminal damage. He was fined £120 and ordered to pay £200 compensation.
STUART David Halstead, 33, of Fallbarn Crescent, Rawtenstall, pleaded guilty to drink driving. He was fined £250, ordered to pay £85 costs and disqualified from driving for 16 months, reduced by 16 weeks if he completes a course approved by the Secretary of State.
KAYLEIGH Louise Vickers, 23, of Staghills Road, Rawtenstall, pleaded guilty to shoplifting. She was given a six-month conditional discharge and ordered to pay £85 costs.
ROLAND Rudzitis, 50, of Bacup Road, Cloughfold, pleaded guilty to failing to provide a specimen of breath for analysis as part of an investigation. He was given an eight-week jail sentence, suspended for 12 months with a supervision requirement, a 35-day rehabilitation activity requirement, ordered to pay £85 costs and disqualified from driving for three years.
JOHN Derek Dyment, 31, of Pendle Close, Bacup, pleaded guilty to using threatening or abusive words or behaviour or disorderly behaviour. He was given a 12-month conditional discharge and ordered to pay £150 costs.
JOHN Allpress, 50, of Union Street, Rawtenstall, pleaded guilty to assault by beating. He was given a 36-month conditional discharge and ordered to pay £85 costs.
STEFAN Anton Kurpil, 58, of Bacup Road, Rawtenstall, pleaded guilty to speeding. He was fined £145, ordered to pay £85 costs and given three points on his driving licence. CASES heard at Blackburn Magistrates Court:
JOHN Anthony Sparks, 39, of no fixed abode, pleaded guilty to three counts of criminal damage in Bacup and one count of using threatening or abusive words or behaviour and failing to comply with supervision requirements imposed following his release from prison. He was given a 12-month community order with a 12-day rehabilitation activity requirement, 60 hours unpaid work and ordered to pay £820 compensation.
JESSICA Beesley, 35, of Goodshaw Avenue, Crawshawbooth, pleaded guilty to using a television without a licence. She was fined £40 and ordered to pay £120 costs.
DARREN Alfred Atkin, 38, of Edgeside Lane, Waterfoot, pleaded guilty to two counts of breaching a nonmolestation order and two counts of breaching a restraining order. He was jailed for 16 weeks.
PHILIP Andrew Jubb, 61, of Victoria Street, Radcliffe, pleaded guilty to drink driving in Rising Bridge. He was fined £180, ordered to pay £85 costs and disqualified from driving for 18 months, reduced by 18 weeks if he completes a course approved by the Secretary of State.
